Catharsis

Crash Landing on You written by Park Ji-eun, Lee Jeong-hyo changed my brain chemistry. And I’m not the only one writhing inside whenever the two most beautiful, star-crossed, deeply-in-love characters of all time are standing looking at each other like brackets!!!! [ ] 😂

Turns out, this is on purpose! Good story-telling is all about anticipation, not gratification. Aristotle called it catharsis and I’m trying to be better at it in my own writing. The waiting makes it worth it, especially the kiss, when it FINALLY comes!
